Crying in Another Dimension

Video installation, Blank100, London, 2019

Inspired by Bas Jan Ader, this piece reviews what it meant to record and share an intimate action in the 1970s and how this has changed today. The video installation consists of a video in a loop in which the artist appears crying, accompanied by an audio piece that presents several people who were randomly interviewed in public places, answering the question: When was the last time you cried and why?
