Cyberastronaut is a moving image work about intimacy, closeness, and suspicion. It explores the barriers between the self and otherness. The story suggests that each individual’s inner world is what hinders these two from fully connecting. The narrator shares her concerns about her beloved, as she suspects that he is not being completely transparent with her. She believes there may exist more than one replicas that pretend to be him, while he is busy taking part in a secret cyber mission.
