A Portal

During the COVID-19 lockdown and in the midst of immigrating from Mexico to England, I built a portal from objects I could not bring with me. The video unfolds as a tour through this installation—an intimate encounter with things charged with memory. The work lingers on attachment, loss, and the ability to move between places without moving at all.
